Pooneh was born & raised in Persia/Iran. She was interested on painting since she was very young and continued to teach herself how to draw until she was 16. After, she was mentored by professional painters of different styles and techniques. With lots of hard work and practice, she was able to transform her own energy and point of view onto the canvas and eventually to the viewers. The last 5 years was a real revolutionary time for her artworks, drawn from personal experiences and worldwide events.

These days she is working on transforming her artworks to a higher level, gathering inspiration for her paintings from history, and the power that leads us into the future.

Inspired by so many events & people, Pooneh is working on her newest collection. As the collection progresses, we will be updating her website as her paintings become available.

So what is Pooneh trying to gain in her new collection? She is working toward gaining a deeper insight into human understanding and to share her knowledge and learning experiences with others and finally to leave behind a legacy for future generations to come.

Neither a politician, a leader nor a priest, Pooneh is just an artist and her painting is reflection from her personal space of thoughts and beliefs. She thinks her canvas is a only space that been concentrated to a frame where she is free to express herself without hurting anyone or anything.
